Stage 2 Results - and yeast is off the hook!

cabbage

I am very happy to report that my worries about yeast were unfounded, and I have just had an almost proper meal (I will be pleased when I get to include things like chilli, garlic, herbs and spices again!) which included cabbage, so this sees me at the end of stage 2.

Time for some results then.

I am happy with the weight loss and width loss so far. You will see above that my weight loss has slowed down now. I only lost 1kg in the whole of stage 2, which I think is OK, though the book does seem to suggest that I could be losing it slightly faster.

I commence stage 3 tomorrow (unless I have a reaction to cabbage that is). Stage 3 consists of many foods that commonly cause sensitivity, so all the grains are introduced in this section. They are introduced differently too, as apparently the body takes longer to show the reaction. It also takes longer to recover. Wheat is my first grain, which I will introduce on Tuesday, and then eat at every meal for 3 days. If I get through that I am then allowed to try wholemeal bread on the following day.

I am curious as to what the next few days will bring. I'll keep you posted.
