The Blissful Boy and I created these Clean Cranberry and Macadamia Bliss Balls today. As often happens, we looked up several recipes, discovered we didn't have half of the ingredients, and so substituted with what we did have in the pantry. The result was so delicious we just had to make a record of it so that we remember how to make them again. You might like to try it too.

It's simple

Ingredients

4 tbsp coconut oil
1 cup macadamias
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 tbsp honey
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 pinch salt

(You will also need additional desiccated coconut to coat the balls)

clean bliss balls

Method

Place all of the ingredients from the list in a blender and blend until you get a smooth paste

Put this paste in the freezer for 10-15 minutes until it is quite firm but not solid

Take out of the freezer and with your hands grab small amounts (about a teaspoon size) and roll into balls using your palm

Then coat in coconut and press the coconut in

Place in the fridge for an hour and then they're ready to serve

It's possible to keep them in the fridge for 5 -7 days... But I bet you don't!
