My main reason for going was to have an assessment and get some stats on my body composition so as to have a measure to I can see what I have achieved in a few months time. I am a scientist - I like hard data!
I am also determined to start exercising properly. I keep saying it. I know its what I need to do. It is hard with a toddler but not impossible, and from September BB will be in nursery 2 mornings a week so I can use some of that time. I just have to do it. Hopefully the hard data and photos are going to help with that.
Are you ready? Here it is. I am being brave and posting this - it's like an over-sharing way of sticking your fat photos in the fridge! It is quite hideous. I do feel motivated to change. I also wonder just how bad it would have been before I started eating Paleo, leaned up a fraction and lost 7kg! Actually that doesn't really bear thinking about...
I am also trying to adopt a different mindset to my usual one - the me that wouldn't post these pictures because I don't like how I look. I read something recently which was simple and quite profound - "I eat well and work out because I love my body, not because I hate it" Hopefully in a few months my photos will show evidence of how much I have loved my body since these pictures were taken. Also by posting them here, I feel more motivated and accountable. It will help me make it happen!

It is all very realistic. I was about 69Kg, when I was a healthy pre baby weight - I sit at that quite comfortably. I'll add a progress report in a few weeks!
