Whole 30 Day 6

Having woken up and realised that I had forgotten to plan all my meals for today I was off to a bit of a slow start. I can see how this could be a trap that I could easily fall into. The temptation to just do something quick did pay me a visit, but I was able to ignore it, mostly I think because I am accountable to the blog - I had to take a photo of something. It was a good lesson though, I think it is a key thing for me to continue to plan the next day's meals beyond the whole 30, and that perhaps this is where I went wrong before. Breakfast at least needs to planned, or even half prepared to get me off to a good start.

After a bit of hesitation I did manage to come up with a lovely breakfast. Sweet potato hash, bacon (yes it was sugar free) and and egg. My lunch was eaten at my desk as I have been working for most of the day. I also forgot to photograph it - but it was exactly the same as yesterday, a tin of tuna and some leaves (I am using yesterdays photo just so that my day is complete for my own records). Dinner was turkey burgers and salad. I also had some strawberries and melon, that are not photographed.

I didn't do any exercise again! Tomorrow morning I am going swimming as my son's Dad is here for the weekend so he can take care of him. I do use the fact that I am a single mum as an excuse for why I do nothing more that walk with a buggy and play on Wii fit and Zumba as exercise, so when there is someone her to look after him I have to do something else.

Water was a good one today though. I drank more than 3L (it has been warm).

I am feeling quite good - I think the cold has passed and the wheat side effects have gone - I don't have the boundless energy yet, but I think within the next day or too I could have.
